My name is John, and I am one of the dentists at Smile Society Caernarfon.
I qualified in Bristol in 1986 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and have worked as a general dentist throughout my career. It is a role I have always enjoyed because of the variety of work and the opportunity to provide patients with comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
One of the most rewarding parts of dentistry for me is building long-term relationships with patients and getting to know them over many years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in my garden and greenhouse.
During the winter months, the greenhouse helps protect my collection of tender plants from the colder weather, including cacti, agaves, and citrus trees. In the summer, I enjoy growing tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines, peppers, chillies, courgettes, and strawberries.
I am also a keen cyclist and can often be found cycling around Anglesey, and occasionally Snowdonia, with my wife Jan on our tandem bike.
